Contras, Squares, and Everything Between

I am an avid contra dancer and caller. Contra dance is a form of partnered social dance with a caller and live music, and if you've never tried it, you should.

I focus on varied sets and lively, humorous teaching. I call contras old and new: chestnuts, family dances, techno contras, and singing squares (my personal favorite). I began calling in 2024, training under David Smukler and Bob Nicholson with CDSS mentorship.

I call frequently in Syracuse and Rochester, occasionally in Buffalo and Ottawa, and other places sporadically.
