About

I am a PhD candidate in Geography at Syracuse University, studying the cultural and environmental history of Adirondack wildlife. I research how the stories we tell about animals reveal deeper truths about human worlds. I write and teach about animals, recreation, and tourism, as well as the place of AI in the environmental humanities.

Outside of the archive and the classroom, I am either practicing a square dance call or walking my dog in the darkest woods.
